New Restaurant Set To Be A Roaring Success

ONE of the UK’s fastest growing franchises has this week opened its latest restaurant in County Durham.

Tiger Bills Consett, which offers a unique mix of Thai and American grill cuisine, was open to the public last night (Dec 4) for the first time and is already proving a huge success.

The 180 cover restaurant at Puddlers Corner on the Project Genesis site has seen a massive amount of interest and hundreds of advance bookings from people from around the area.

The new restaurant, which has created around 40 full and part time jobs, has seen an unprecedented amount of interest ahead of its opening, revealed its operators.

“The opening of any Tiger Bills always causes a stir but we’ve been overwhelmed by the interest and support we’ve had for Consett,” said Nathan Towersey, Franchise and Operations Manager for Tiger Bills.

“We’ve been inundated with inquiries about when we would be opening and from people wanting to come along and try our unique offering. “We’re delighted that the doors are now open and that everyone can now enjoy the Tiger Bills experience.”

Tiger Bills offers diners a wide range of choices from two very different cuisines, Thai and a Western-style grill. Diners can pick from a particular cuisine or mix and match to create a unique dining experience.

The Thai menu includes soups, curries and stir fries, drawing their inspiration from Thai street food while the American-style grill includes everything from ribs to steaks.
