New Dublin link to Newcastle

Links from Newcastle to the Irish capital have received a boost with the announcement that Aer Lingus is to start a new daily service. Commencing on 29 October, the low-cost service will complement the exiting double daily flights to Dublin operated by budget airline Ryanair. With 3,000 passengers already travelling between Newcastle and Dublin each week, it is currently one of the airport’s most popular destinations. Jonathan Rayner, Newcastle Airport’s Aviation Development Executive said: “This new mid-afternoon service to Dublin offers our business and leisure passengers even greater flexibility and choice for access to the Irish capital. Dublin continues to be a popular city break destination from the North East and this new service is certain to add to its popularity.” The flights are on sale now at www.aerlingus.com, with special introductory one-way fares starting from as little as £1 excluding taxes and charges.
