New business park hopes for flying start
A new office development near Newcastle Airport is hoping to ensure a flying start with a public open morning next week. Prestwick Park will be open to the public from 8:30 to 10:30 on Thursday 7th December. The organisers hope that potential occupiers will take the chance to see the park for themselves.
Prestwick Park is only half a mile from Newcastle Airport and close to the A1. The park’s owners believe that the self-contained, open plan office spaces on the outskirts of a village will be an attractive prospect for smaller companies. Three of the offices are already under offer to local businesses.
Jane Stonehouse, Associate in office agency at GVA Lamb & Edge, which is marketing the scheme, said: “Prestwick Park provides high quality offices purpose built for smaller companies. Seven detached buildings, with on site car parking, security barrier control, a magnificent tree lined approach and a tranquil working environment is a fantastic package. “The developer is prepared to take a flexible approach to lease length and unit configuration. Unlike many new buildings, for which landlords look to tie tenants in on long leases, the developer of Prestwick Park can offer short-term leases of as little as three years. “The location, so close to the region’s major airport and road network, gives this scheme a real edge.”
