YENE needs you!
Young Enterprise North East are seeking support from local businesses in the delivery of their Personal Economics programme in Newcastle schools. Personal Economics aims to provide students with a practical, hands-on introduction to personal finance, savings, investments, credit & debt and budgeting skills. It is designed to be a particularly fun programme, incorporating games and activities to encourage a “learning by doing” attitude. The programme runs as five hourly sessions, with the support of a teacher.
By volunteering with Young Enterprise, you will gain the opportunity to increase your personal and professional development, in particular your presentation and communication skills. The volunteer’s role is vital in bridging the gap between the business and education communities and in inspiring the workforce of the future.
These programmes are starting in the first week of March. Please contact Sally Kevan, Volunteer Recruitment Manager on 0191 4959500 or e-mail sally.kevan@yene.org.uk for further information.
