Online PR 'vital' for NE business
North East businesses need to use online PR to promote their brand, according to a local business organisation. The North East Regional Portal (TNERP) is hoping to help businesses in the region achieve this aim by launching an online PR agency. TNERP cite figures from publisher eMarketer which show that there are 35.1 miliion regular Internet users in the UK, and that surfing the web has become the standard way of researching new products and services before making a decision to buy.
Pascal Fintoni, search engine optimisation consultant at the Regional Portal, said: “It’s vital for the region’s businesses to improve their visibility online if they are to compete with other UK enterprises and reach a potentially global audience. “Our Online PR Agency will provide a comprehensive and affordable way for North East entrepreneurs to do this.”
Jennifer Robson, Online PR manager, said: “The service acts as a one-stop shop providing press releases that are written specifically for the web. Crucially, each press release is optimised using our proven keyword analysis and specialist web writing techniques.”
The Online PR Agency also intends to provide consultancy on social networking, blogging, podcasting to help North East firms carve out a name on the web. To find out more about the Online PR Agency, call 0191 487 2002, email info@n-e-life.co.uk or visit www.onlineprservices.co.uk.
