UK's galleries visit North East

The largest commercial selling exhibition of original artwork ever held in the North of England is coming to Tyneside this spring. The NewcastleGateshead Art Fair is taking place from May 10–13, opening with a VIP guest night and welcoming the public over the following three days. The purpose built marquee, which will spring up for the Fair on Gateshead Quays, will house around 55 galleries for the duration of the event, showcasing the work of hundreds of artists. The event, which is sponsored by HSBC, will feature galleries from throughout the UK as well as international artists.
