Hands on advice at construction event
Local people inspired by TV programmes such as Grand Designs and Property Ladder are being encouraged to attend a one day event designed to help them put their architecture and interior ideas into action. Business Link Tyne and Wear are running a free ‘Construction, Interiors and Enterprise’ event on March 15 in Newcastle that allows people who have a desire to build their own enterprise in the construction and interiors sector to talk to inspirational role models in the industry.
The event aims to give people looking to build a business in this sector a chance to meet others who have already put their ideas into action, find out more about building a business from already held skills and experiences and to be inspired to make the most out of their ideas.
Salome McVeigh, enterprise project manager at Business Link Tyne and Wear said: “This interactive event is aimed at all those people who have got a flair for design or construction, who want to take the next step into building a successful future for themselves. By speaking to role models at this event they will learn how to turn their dreams into a reality and gain information on how other people have built themselves a successful business. “But really it doesn’t matter what stage you’re at, if you’ve got any previous experience or even if you haven’t got an idea yet, I would encourage anybody who has an interest in construction or interiors to explore the opportunities available to them in an energising and supportive atmosphere.”
There are only limited spaces available at the events. Book your free place today by contacting Alison on 0845 245 0212 or emailing Alison@peopleintoenterprise.com or visit www.iwant2doit.co.uk for further information.
