NE driver sets sights on success with new website

North East-based touring car driver Harry Vaulkhard has launched a new website in a bid to raise sponsorship and continue in his quest to be a serious challenger in his sport. He has had a determined start to the year, recording the fastest lap at the first pre-season SEAT Cupra Championship testing session.

Harry, who finished in the top ten of the championship last season in only his second year in the event, has now launched his new website, www.harryvaulkhardracing.com, so sponsors and fans can keep up-to-date with his progress on the track. He hopes the site will help him recruit more much needed sponsorship – efforts to reach his goal to become a leading candidate for the championship costs thousands of pounds.

Harry said: “I am really excited about this year, I have a hectic schedule of racing and this new website – in particular the blog facility – will help me keep in touch with sponsors and fans. “I want to win and that is my goal from the outset. It will not be easy but I am aiming for the top.”

The website, created by Newcastle-based Orange Bus IT, includes the latest news, racing schedule, a gallery of photographs, videos and sponsorship information as well as the personal blogs from the driver.

Julian Leighton, director at Orange Bus IT, said: “As sponsors of Harry we were very pleased to help him with his website, it’s a mutually beneficial relationship and we wish him the very best for the season.”
