Restaurant provides classy fashion for charity

The Ivy House in West Jesmond, Newcastle, is hosting a fashion show in aid of Children North East. The event, on the evening of Sunday 15 April, will feature summer fashion and accessories for all ages from a range of local boutiques, including Leaf Clothing, Just Kidding, Eden, Skirt, Ophelia, Me Me Me and Edo and will feature hair design by the famous Barry & Bobby Hair Design.

Guests at the black tie event will be met by a champagne reception with a wide range of canapés created by the Ivy House’s award winning chef. The whole event is being choreographed by Fusion and cabaret on the evening will be from local lass Natalie Dean, one of the country’s leading cabaret singers.

Steve Unsworth from The Ivy House said: “We are really excited about this event. The Ivy House lends itself well to hosting a fashion show and this will be an opportunity for people to enjoy the ambiance of the restaurant, experience the fashions that are available for men, women and children from some of the classiest clothiers in the city and help raise funds for such a worthwhile cause as Children North East. As well as the fashions on show we have some wonderful entertainment planned and of course we will be holding a raffle and tombola to win some really exclusive prizes.”

Tickets for the event, priced at £50, are available from The Ivy House on 0191 281 3812 or from Catrina Flynn at Children North East on 0191 256 2444.
