Printers press ahead
An integrated print solutions company from North Tyneside that invested £4 million in a state-of-the-art litho press is seeing a 60% increase in sales over the last 12 months. NSL bought the Rapida KBA 205, believed to be the biggest litho press in the world, last year. The company now boasts a client list including Dixons Group, Freespirit, Woolworths and Millets.
NSL is a family business, set up in 1973 and primarily works with clients in the retail sector across the UK. NSL is now expanding into Europe with new client Footlocker which has 515 stores in 16 countries.
Duncan Hesse, managing director of NSL said: “We’ve been really pleased with the Rapida KBA press and litho is becoming the preferred option for the majority of our clients. We now have the capacity and confidence to expand our business further into European retailers.”
Danny Zeegers, visual merchandise manager of Footlocker, said: “We are looking forward to working with NSL in the future who I’m sure will keep us one step ahead with new innovation and printing techniques. In the next few years we are planning to expand further into Eastern Europe and we look forward to strengthening our relationship with NSL.”
