Psychic takes on the form

A North East psychic has put his reputation on the line by making a prediction for the 2007 Grand National, which takes place this Saturday 14th April. Dean “Midas” Maynard has even attracted the interest of Radio One DJ Scott Mills appeared live on his show this morning.

Dean has challenged a Grand National website to pick the 2007 winner by studying the form, whilst he picks the winner using his mystical powers. Dean’s psychic selections are Bother Na and Eurotrek. www.grandnational.org.uk, who have correctly predicted the winners for the past two years, have selected Dun Doire.

Dean commented: “This is one of the biggest tests I’ve undertaken. The tipsters at www.grandnational.org.uk have picked the last two winners of the Grand National and know everything about horse racing, whereas I’ve sought psychic inspiration to come up with my tips. However, I’m confident that Bother Na or Eurotrek will prove to be victorious on Saturday.”

Jeremy Brown from the website commented: “We have a team of professional gamblers who spend hours meticulously pouring over the form book to find the winner of the Grand National. We don’t believe in psychic hocus-pocus and recommend punters to stick with the experts on Saturday, when we think Dun Doire will be our third Grand National winning tip in three years!”
