Virtual growth for Teesside PR company

A PR company in Middlesbrough is celebrating its second successful year in business by announcing unusual expansion plans ahead of schedule. Anna Addison Associates was established in 2005 by former BBC journalist Anna Addison. The company launched with a handful of Teesside-based clients but has since that time trebled in size.

In the last year Anna Addison Associates has gained a number of new clients including ITV Tyne Tees presenter, Philippa Tomson, The Introduction Company in North Yorkshire, Simon Bailes Peugeot and Simply Dutch at Leeming Bar. Thanks to the company’s rapid growth Anna now plans to launch a ‘virtual PR company’ earlier than anticipated.

Anna said: “Over the last year I have worked hard to increase the size of my business at a steady pace and I now have clients all over the UK. One of the reasons I believe that my company is proving successful is not only because of my knowledge of the media, having worked and trained as a journalist, but the fact that I can keep my costs at a reasonable level as I am home-based.

“I now plan to expand the business by launching a virtual PR company which will see me taking on several PR and marketing professionals in different areas of the UK over the coming months. Like me, they too will be based at home hence I can keep my overheads to a minimum and offer the best value PR service to a variety of companies and individuals.”
