?NortheRN? researchers hot up for summer conference
A summer conference dedicated to celebrating the talent and creative thinking of Northern researchers is being launched this year. NortheRN, a new network specifically designed for professional researchers in the North sponsored by the MRS (Market Research Society), is hosting the event at Lumley Castle in County Durham. Following the success of previous NortheRN events in Newcastle, Manchester and York, top research agencies and practitioners from the across the North are set to gather at the event on May 25.
The event, titled ‘building bridges’, places emphasis on the relationship between social and public sector researchers and private sector providers in the North of England. It will provide an opportunity to meet fellow researchers and marketers, exchange best practice and create collaboration and business opportunities.
Sarah Champ of McCallum Layton, who attended NortheRN’s Manchester event, said: “It was refreshing to attend an event outside of London which actively encouraged forward thinking and shouted about the unique benefits of being ‘northern’ researchers. The speakers were refreshing, frank and have encouraged us into implementing some positive changes in that way we work.”
For more information about the event, visit www.think-m.co.uk. Thanks to sponsorship places are free, however they are limited so to secure a place at the conference, please email Laura@think-m.co.uk, or call 0191 211 1957.
