IT adds up for small businesses
A North East business development firm has launched a new Accountancy and Bookkeeping service for SMEs aimed at helping them maintain a profitable business. Walker Hall Associates decided to set up the business Account4me.co.uk after talking to many of the new businesses across the region.
The company is reporting ‘record’ numbers of people starting a new business, citing that 1400 companies have started to trade with their support in the last year. The new accounting arm will offer a full accountancy and bookkeeping service as well as help with tax returns to all businesses of any size especially in the Tees Valley.
Phil Teasdale, Enterprise Director, said: “We have seen a rapid increase in the numbers of new businesses starting in the North East, the highest areas of growth in the Tees Valley have been Stockton-on-Tees, Redcar and Cleveland and Middlesbrough, and we spotted that these companies could grow and have much more earning potential, if they had the correct accounting support. “Our philosophy at Account4me.co.uk is to save business owners time and money, taking away the stress and time spent keeping accounts up to date, giving them more time to concentrate on the things they do best, developing income streams and growing their business.”
