Offset your infidelity

Regular bdaily readers may remember that earlier this year we reported on the creation of the www.cheatneutral.com website, a scheme designed to allow people who just can’t help their infidelity to pay a nominal amount to a faithful couple in order to ‘offset’ their cheating ways. Well, it seems that the idea is taking off, having been featured on the BBC, US radio stations, British newspapers, and even mentioned in the House of Commons. A short film has been made about the scheme, and has been entered into a national competition. (The eagle eyed among you may have noticed that the competition is sponsored by a carbon offsetting company. Because the Cheatneutral scheme is a particularly light-hearted satire on the idea of carbon offsetting, we at The bdaily hope that the judges will be entirely impartial when they come to make their decision.)
