Durham Business School joins with European partner

Durham Business School (DBS) and the European Business School (EBS) in Germany have combined strengths to offer an executive MBA (EMBA). The DBS and EBS Executive MBA is a 2-year, part-time programme and is taught by academics from both partner institutions. On successful completion, it results in a dual MBA awarded from both institutions. The programme is taught on a modular part-time basis in Germany and the UK. It is designed to meet the needs of busy executives in Europe and aims to cover key leadership development issues such as strategic thinking, leadership skills and intercultural awareness.

Peter Allen, Programme Director – External Programmes of Durham Business School, said: “We are delighted to offer students the benefits the new EMBA programme. Both Durham Business School and the European Business School believe in a sound and practice-oriented approach to learning. Additionally, the programme will produce globally oriented people with multi-cultural skills who are able to operate effectively in a global community.”

The programme commences in October each year with a six day residential induction in Durham. Those interested in finding out more on the DBS and EBS Executive MBA can visit the Durham Business School website for further information.
