Alternative uses for pillow cases include capturing snakes

A four-foot-long snake found in the back garden of a house in Sunderland has been captured using a pillow case. Police were called late on Monday to St Leonard’s Street after a man spotted a dark brown python in his garden. Officers established the reptile was not poisonous and captured it using the bed linen. It was taken to be cared for by a local snake keeper overnight. Northumbria Police told the BBC that the RSPCA would take over the care of the snake and officers are trying to trace its owner. That shouldn’t be too hard, surely?
