Finance support for South Tyneside businesses

Expanding businesses in South Tyneside are being invited to tap into a new financial service which aims to help them grow and develop. In an effort to boost business development in the region, NStar Finance & Business is running an introductory course on finance and business at The Customs House, South Shields on 23 July.

The one-day, free introductory learning course will provide businesses with the essential basics of finance and show them the range of support being offered; they can then assess the best route to growth. It will also introduce companies to NStar. Nstar Finance & Business provides a range of innovative financial support services including training, coaching, mentoring and advice aimed at small and medium sized enterprises.

Caroline Hughes, newly appointed head of NStar Finance & Business, said: “Finance & business is a practical and robust response to the financial issues facing many SMEs. We have an exciting programme of activities that are relevant for any company, in any sector, wanting to grow and become more profitable. “It will provide companies with the complete skills to access and use finance for business growth from the basics to the more complex equity investments. A variety of courses have been designed to suit both business owners with little experience of finance as well as the more experienced individuals with ambitious growth plans that require tailored financial support.”
