ASP.NET developer

An outstanding opportunity has arisen for an ambitious and experienced ASP.NET developer to join our dynamic digital development team at Pearsons. We are a large digital agency in Northern England and our team are expanding to accommodate new ventures in our core business. As part of this expansion you will have the opportunity to work on a range of projects where you can get involved in everything from creating enhancements to developing new products for the public and private sector.

Ideally you will have previous experience of following projects through the full life cycle, from concept through to testing and implementation. You need to be technically talented with at least 1 years relevant commercial experience and have an excellent working knowledge of ASP.NET (VB) and SQL Server. SQL Server training can be given providing you have good database skills, however you must be proficient in ASP.NET (VB) to apply for this role. Experience of XML, accessibility issues and eGovernment standards would be advantageous.

You must have excellent communication and team working skills and have a real passion for the industry and a desire to continually learn. In return you’ll get a great package and a flexible approach to working life.
