Conceptia launches new small business IT packages
Essex based IT consultancy, Conceptia, has launched a new portfolio of IT packages. The new service offerings, which are tailored specifically for businesses at start-up phase or SMEs seeking greater value and support from their technology systems, include a cloud office network solution that comprises of all the tools needed to run a small business from home or multiple locations.
The team at Conceptia, who have helped over 450 companies with their IT needs, was inspired to launch the new services following years of watching businesses being sold standard IT packages that were unsuited to their needs. In particular, popular proprietary solutions were being sold on the basis of brand inertia and the reseller benefits that the provider would receive rather than on the strength or suitability of the product.
Conceptia now offers Open Source software, which is predominantly available for free. The publishers of these packages make money on supporting the large organisations that use it, such as Toyota, Cisco, NASA, the US Stock Exchange, Islington Council and Yell.com. Therefore, smaller companies can receive the benefits of technically superior packages with no purchase and ‘user license’ costs. What’s more, the majority of Open Source software is Linux based, which means it is not vulnerable to the majority of viruses – making it a more secure solution too.
Neil Poulton, the Managing Director of Conceptia Limited, comments: “Unfortunately, we have experienced a significant amount of bad practice in our industry over the years. Therefore, we wanted to aim a cost-effective IT service solution at start-ups, before they can potentially be sold expensive and poorly suited systems with limited functionality, by other suppliers. Cloud computing is becoming especially popular as a result of the flexibility it offers to work from different places and upscale into office space and is ideal for a business during its start-up phase.
We also wanted to produce products with transparent pricing, in contrast to the hidden costs in many popular offerings, which hit businesses particularly hard when they try to expand.“
Our new packages offer full turn key solutions, including servers, PCs, routers, telephones and connectivity, thus enabling start-ups to enjoy the benefits and cost savings of a wide range of software and hardware while maintaining peace of mind that professional help is at hand from a single trusted source.“
The start-up package also includes ClearBooks Accounting & Payroll Software, which provides a cost-effective alternative to Sage.
Conceptia has been delivering innovative IT solutions since 2002 and offers unrivalled industry knowledge, underpinned by a strong range of interrelated products which enables them to deliver full IT computing and telecommunications solutions.
