Newcastle-based Horizonworks Marketing has appointed a new member to its team, following increased demand for its services.

Jen Dugdale will join the seven others at Horizonworks as an account manager, focusing on campaigns, branding, PR, web development and market research.

Managing director, Samantha Davidson, said: “I am pleased to welcome Jen to the team and I am sure that she will become an invaluable member of our team.

“Jen’s appointment will allow us to develop the business further and provide our clients with an exceptional marketing service.”

Law firm Dickinson Dees has promoted Emma Moody to Head of Charities, having worked in charity law for ten years.

Emma is top ranked for her charities work and is recognised as ‘one to watch’ by legal bible Chambers and Partners.

Commenting on her promotion, Emma, said: “I am delighted to take on the role of Head of Charities at Dickinson Dees.

“It will be very much business as usual in terms of the work I do for our charities and independent school clients, advising them on a wide range of legal issues.”

ARC, Stockton Arts Centre has added three new members to its Board of Trustees.

Senior lecturer in performing arts at Northumbria University, Kate Craddock; Teeside GP Paul Williams; and local playwright Ishy Din all bring a wealth of skills and influence to the Board, which meets quarterly for strategic development discussions.

ARC’S Board Chairman, Barry Thomas said: “I am delighted that we have been able to strengthen the Board with these three key new members, and look forward to leading ARC to continued success over the next few years with their contribution.”

Digital and communications agency Orange bus is creating five new senior level jobs following increased demand from national clients.

Co-director Julian Leighton described 2011 as a “transformative year” for Orange Bus, due to the launch of a new digital marketing division and increased turnover.

This year, the firm plan to move into a Software As A Service based business model and Mr Leighton said: “While the time for money exchange will always form a key part of the business, moving into product development will see the business grow in ways it hasn’t before.”

Darlington-based trade print service provider Addo Printing has expanded its team.

Lyn Elkin has joined as commercial manager, taking on payroll duties, office administration and quality assurance responsibilities.

The firm has also launched an apprenticeship scheme, signing up three apprentices initially, with the strong possibility that two will be offered permanent roles in the near future.
