All-star lineup for Great North East event
North East marketing man Geoff Ramm has assembled an all-star cast of speakers for a one-off event in aid of a children’s charity.
Geoff is celebrating 10 years in business with ‘Now That’s What I Call A Great Event,’ which will take place at South Shields Customs House, with proceeds going to the Bubble Foundation at the RVI hospital.
Times No1 best selling author Richard McCann; Kevin Morley, former CEO of Rover and Secret Millionaire; Kevin Gaskell, former managing director of both Porsche and BMW; and Michael Jackson, one described by Nelson Mandela as ‘a national treasure,’ will address 400 entrepreneurs.
Geoff said: “For the past 18 months I’ve been thinking of how to mark my 10 years in business and I thought what better way to do it than to bring together the people who have inspired me in the last decade and who I know businesses in the region are going to get so much from.
“I have been inspired by every one of the speakers and I am delighted that they are giving up their time to support my event and the Bubble Foundation.
“As for me I will be delivering some of my greatest ‘Observational Marketing’ hits over the last decade and some never before seen material.”
The event is being sponsored by SAGE, along with South Tyneside Council, Spacecraft and Printing.com.
Jo Lennon, Customer Marketing Manager at SAGE added: “We are delighted to support Geoff and his Great Event.
“2012 is a challenging year for every business out there, but an evening like this will give so many people ideas and inspiration to stay successful.”
Almost half of the 400 tickets for the event have gone to businesses booking blocks for their staff and teams.
Geoff added: ‘It’s amazing, businesses are coming in from all over the country including; Cumbria, Lancashire, London, Yorkshire and North Wales but I am calling on all businesses in our region to see the best of the best on April 2 and to help support such a wonderful children’s charity.“
‘Now That’s What I Call A Great Event’ will take place on Monday April 2 between 6pm-10pm, and tickets are priced £30 from the Customs House box office.
