Sayu partner with Google for web platform success
A Stockton based web company has been confirmed as the vendor for a Google initiative aimed at helping retailers and publishers go mobile phone friendly.
Sayu Limited were confirmed as the UK vendor for the GetMo Initiative after an extensive selection process by Google. The firm were chosen for their knowledge of mobile website technology, which their developed through their own dedicated mobile platform SayuConnect.
A similar initiative entitled GoMo has already been successfully launched in the US, and Sayu will now help to bring this knowledge to the UK marketplace.
As well as helping businesses to develop an effective strategy to access the opportunities that the new market will bring, Sayu anticipate that the announcement will help them achieve significant growth whilst also creating local jobs.
Director at Sayu, Simon Pitts said “The team at Sayu is delighted and proud to be confirmed as a Google vendor for the GetMo initiative.
“This is a significant development for us and we’re looking forward to working with GetMo to help businesses within the region and throughout the UK realise the importance of mobile.”
SayuConnect took a year to research and develop, and can now deliver a mobile website which can be integrated into any existing website platform. The system will enable ecommerce and web publishing business to take full advantage of their respective sectors.
Pitts added: “The launch of GetMo is important as many businesses still do not realise the importance of the shift in consumer behaviour.
“A number of major brands have already taken the plunge, but mobile is something that will affect all businesses and publishers particularly SME’s and local businesses; website owners should act now so that they don’t get left behind.”
