A North East lawyer has achieved the accolade of Fellowship of the Agricultural Law Association, and is one of only 54 people in the UK to do so.
Elizabeth Allen is an Associate in Dickinson Dees Property Litigation practice specialising in rural and agricultural farming disputes, including tenancy matters, partnership disputes, and advising on all other property law issues such as easements, restrictive covenants and mineral rights on rural land.
She commented: “ALA Fellowship is a badge of excellence in the sector that I am proud to have achieved I am very grateful to the partners at Dickinson Dees, who have supported me in attaining this Fellowship.”
Elizabeth recently acted in a reported agricultural case, which established the rules relating to tenancy succession, and regularly appears in the County Court, the Agricultural Land Tribunal and in Arbitration.
John Marshall, senior partner at Dickinson Dees said: “We are delighted for Elizabeth that her hard work and commitment has been rewarded with this prestigious Fellowship.
“To be one of less than 60 people to have attained this accolade in the whole country is a fantastic achievement.”
