SMT celebrates high profile client wins
A Northumberland based social media firm is celebrating its fourth year in business with a series of high profile client wins.
Over the last year Social Media Training UK has seen business grow five-fold, and has a number of notable clients to their books. These include Homeserve PLC, the NHS Yorkshire Ambulance Service, the Army Families Federation and the world famous Royal and Ancient Golf Club in St Andrews.
Chris Shaw, Managing Director of SMT UK, said: “We have experienced a rapid growth in demand for our bespoke training programmes.
“Our clients have recognised the need to adopt a more strategically focused policy on social media marketing and our service delivery has been adapted over time.
“We now provide high quality training suited to individual client needs with full post-course support and are recognised as a leading provider.”
SMT has always been at the forefront of social media technologies, and the first Twitter account it set up for a well known brand is in the oldest 2% of all accounts on the site. In the past four years, the firm has developed a national reputation, providing training to businesses across the UK in both the public and the private sector.
He continued: “The increase in demand for our training courses is excellent news for the business and reward for the hard work and effort of our team.
“We continue to adapt and deliver the most up-to-date courses with an approach that has attracted welcome plaudits from our client base.”
Kevin Bain, Digital Media Manager of The Royal and Ancient Golf Club of St Andrews, and The Open Championship, said “Working with SMT has opened our eyes to the potential scope and volume of our audience.
“We have been shown how to extend our reach through the integration of several social media channels and their expertise has given us many useful ‘tricks of the trade’, an awareness of other campaigns and trends out there, and most importantly a wealth of inspiration and ideas.”
