British Airways boss lands in Teesside for conference

British Airways boss, Keith Williams will join speakers at the Teesside University Business School Conference next week.

Mr Williams, who is originally from Guisborough, was awarded a Doctor of Business Administration as Teesside University honorary graduate in 2011.

The conference will also feature talks from Peter Atherton, head of Utility Sector at Liberum Capital and Dr Sue Smith, assistant Dean at Teesside University Business School.

Alastair Thomson, Dean of Teesside University Business School said: “Our annual conference offers businesses an opportunity to share ideas to make their organisations more profitable, more stable and more sustainable, even in these tough times.”

Teesside University Business School Conference has been one of the key events in Teesside’s business calendar for several years, with previous speakers including the Director General of the CBI, Global President of the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants and the Chairman of Standard Chartered Bank.

This year’s event takes place on Monday May 13 at 12 noon until 2pm. Read Bdaily’s recent interview with BA’s Keith Williams.
