CANDDI to seek venture capital funding
Manchester-based technology outfit CANDDi says it will be looking for a second round of venture capital funding next year as it gears for growth.
The firm has just employed former Google senior sales manager, Frederic Abard, and is looking to gain growth from its web tracking software.
CANDDI so far supply to the likes of Cdiscount.com, Sage; financial outfit, HML; relationship marketing experts, Dallas Matthews; and IT firm, e-shot.net.
The software allows businesses to track website conversions and follow up sales leads by telling them who has been viewing the website.
As well as building a profile of the potential customer – including contact details – CANDDi enables businesses to track the customer journey across multiple visits which gives them insights into what products their customers are interested in buying.
Tim Langley, CEO of CANDDi and the primary brains behind the software, said: “We’ve spent a long time creating our product to find the best possible solution to a problem that so many businesses face – namely how to maximise the use of their website as a sales channel.
“Currently 98% of website views do not result in a sales conversion so CANDDi wants to give businesses – large or small - the insights they need to change this. The feedback from our customers so far has been amazing.
“We have exciting plans for CANDDi so we look forward to developing the product even further as we expand the company. Our customers are really varied and range from the second biggest Internet retailer in France right through to SMEs based throughout the UK.”
CANDDI raised £500k in its first round of investor funding.
