Regatta plans for growth in Trafford Park
Outdoor clothing and footwear group, Regatta, has submitted a planning application for its new international headquarters office in Manchester.
The project will bring together three international outdoor brands, Regatta, Craghoppers and Dare2b, as well as the UK Hawkshead retail business, in a state-of-the-art headquarters, at Mercury Way, Trafford Park, for 250 existing employees.
The innovative facility has been designed by a collaboration of lead design consultants from Fletcher-Rae and Space Invader Interior designers, who were appointed following a design competition.
HOW Planning has been appointed as planning consultants for the project.
Keith Black, Managing Director of Regatta, said: “With the new headquarters, we aim to create a world-class facility, enabling the very best talent to maximise their capabilities. We are creating a unique environment of design studios, meeting spaces and offices in a highly individual design, as we continue to grow our brands across the UK, Europe and worldwide.
“We are delighted with the emerging solution designed by Fletcher-Rae and its consultancy team.”
The company has been a key employer in Trafford Park for over 30 years and has received the Queen’s Award for Export for the last two consecutive years.
