Event Marketing Solutions recruits graduate team to boost government campaign
Event Marketing Solutions (EMS) has recruited a team of presenters to deliver the Department for Business, Innovation and Skills (BIS) Student Finance 2013 tour.
The 38 presenters will tour schools and colleges throughout England between September and December this year, delivering more than 2,000 events to inform pupils and their parents about the financial support available to go to university.
EMS recruited recent graduates from all over England and has trained them to deliver presentations on Student Finance, whilst ensuring they have the time management, problem solving and presentation skills they need whilst out on the road. The presenters also have an experienced presenter as their mentor –– who will provide them with ongoing support and guidance throughout the project
EMS Client Services Director Justin Isles said: “Getting graduates on board who have recently been through university and student finance system to deliver the Student Finance tour enables us to connect with students and their parents. We are not only equipping the team with skills that they can use immediately, but also providing them with valuable experience that they can take to future employers.”
Niamh Hogan who presented during the Student Finance 2012 campaign and now works for the company as a Junior Account Executive said: “The opportunity that EMS provides is exceptional. You receive intensive one-to-one training, which really builds your confidence in event management. It also means that you feel motivated and passionate about the campaign.”
EMS delivered the first Student Finance Campaign in September 2011. Since then, it has recruited and trained more than 93 presenters, delivered over 5,500 events, reaching nearly 400,000 people.
