Nortech Group celebrates its official launch with plans to increase turnover to £15m

Nortech Group, the professional engineering design and project management company, which has achieved a three-fold increase in turnover in under three years, has announced plans to increase revenues by 50% to £15million by 2015.

Since its establishment in April 2011, the Stockton-on-Tees based Nortech ‘group of companies’, which serve the process, offshore, onshore oil & gas, steel and iron industries, has expanded rapidly from four to 87 members of staff. From October 1st 2013, all Nortech companies will be amalgamated into the newly launched Nortech Group.

Based at Wynyard Business Park, Stockton-on-Tees, Nortech Group, which comprises Nortech Solutions, Nortech Oil and Gas and Nortech Staffing Solutions, has secured significant contracts with clients in the burgeoning oil and gas industry.

Key wins in 2013 include a £5m contract with EnQuest, an independent oil and gas production company with a geographic focus on the United Kingdom Continental Shelf (UKCS). Nortech is working on a number of process simplification projects to extend the operating life of an offshore platform located in the Northern North Sea.

Bryan Bunn, Managing Director of Nortech Group, said: “I am delighted to announce the official launch of Nortech Group. It has been a fantastic, rewarding and enjoyable two and a half years in business as we have clinched key contracts and are taking on more employees to service our growing client base.

“We expect to continue to grow and expand and to take on more people to service this work. Our objective is to further increase our turnover to £15million by April 2015.”
