Manchester creative and digital SMEs showcased to Indian leaders
Great Manchester creative and digital SMEs are being showcased to Indian firms in the same sector at an ‘exchange’ this month.
Manchester’s Inward Investment Agency, MIDAS is leading the the Digital Media Exchange in the city, in partnership with PVL media.
The exchange will include keynote speeches by Ashish Kulkarni from Reliance Animation and Sabbas Joseph from Wizcraft International Entertainment, who will be joined by MedicCityUK’s Stephen Wild and the University of Salford’s Andrew Cooper.
Greater Manchester has the UK’s largest creative and digital cluster outside of London, employing 162,000 people and generating GVA of £5.4 billion each year, whilst the India sector generates $15 billion and is growing at a rate of 15.2% per annum.
The exchange will provide an opportunity for Greater Manchester SMEs to meet and network with leading voices from both the UK and Indian creative and digital sectors.
It will also present an opportunity for Greater Manchester to showcase a selection of its thriving SMEs and help all parties develop an understanding of how international relationships can greatly improve their individual business performances.
