Manchester law firm honoured at the Law Society’s excellence awards
Manchester law firm Aequitas Legal has been recognised at the annual Law Society Excellence Awards, which took place in London yesterday.
The Salford Quays-headquartered personal injury firm took home the Excellence in Client Service Award, beating off stiff competition from a number of much larger firms in the process.
The award criteria required entrants to illustrate the ways in which they uphold outstanding customer service standards, and to show how they go the extra mile for clients.
On winning the award, managing partner of Aequitas Legal and current president of the Manchester Law Society, Sucheet Amin said: “Winning this award means a great deal to me and to the rest of the team. To be recognised at a national level at such a prestigious awards ceremony, and to have been chosen as the winning firm from an incredibly strong shortlist feels like a huge achievement.
“When I created Aequitas Legal in 2009 I wanted to establish a law firm that puts customer service first, and just does things differently. Although we’re small, this award proves what we’ve always believed; that we not only punch well above our weight in terms of the customer service we offer as standard to our clients, but also when it comes to our ambition and continued hunger for success.”
This year, Aequitas Legal won the Salford Business Awards Excellence Award 2013 and was shortlisted for the Customer Service Award at the National Entrepreneur Awards. Managing Partner Sucheet has been shortlisted for the Manchester Young Talent Awards Legal Professional of the Year award.
