North West based company MyMobileWorkers, the company behind the self-titled world’s first pay-as-you-go mobile workforce management app, have had a busy month, securing their nominations in not just one, but two awards.
Graham Whistance, founder of MyMobileWorkers is nominated for Small Business Entrepreneur of the Year at the Great British Entrepreneur Awards, whereas the company itself is nominated for Mobile Business of the Year category at the Smarta 100 Awards.
After keeping it under wraps since the beginning of October, MyMobileWorkers are celebrating being recognised in such a prestigious event. The Great British Entrepreneur Awards, in association with Bizcrowd celebrates entrepreneurial success across all range of businesses in Britain.
“The Great British Entrepreneur Awards will be the annual celebration of seasoned and aspiring entrepreneurs and the support network they need to survive and thrive.” Nick James, Founder of Fresh Business Thinking - the Great British Entrepreneur Awards Media Partner.
The Smarta 100 Awards recognises not only entrepreneurs, but resourceful, inspiring and disruptive small businesses in the UK. The judges, who include leading entrepreneurs such as Dragons’ Den’s Piers Linney and Ben Dowd, O2’s Business Director, have chosen 10 different companies in 10 categories, making each one of the companies a Smarta 100 business.
MyMobileWorkers has been nominated in the Mobile Business of the Year category, and, as with all categories, the public will vote for one winner from the shortlist of ten companies. The app replaces outdated paperwork with electronic data capture sheets, serving as a complete system allowing businesses to track and manage a wide range of tasks such as proof of completion, receipt of job details, customer satisfaction surveys, timesheets and more, all in one app.
“Being nominated for one award is excellent, but two in the same month is phenomenal and a real testament to the hard work of the MyMobileWorkers team.” Graham Whistance, Founder of MyMobileWorkers.
