Nochintz appointed on new office projects in Liverpool and Manchester

Interior and branding studio NoChintz has undertaken two new commercial projects which has seen it procure and install a projects in Liverpool and design and install office space in Manchester.

The Northern Quarter based team was appointed by developer Peel to facilitate and procure the installation of managed office spaces at The Quay at No.12 Princes Dock in Liverpool.

It is the first phase of work that NoChintz will carry out on behalf of Peel in Liverpool and will see them work on The Quay’s meeting room and managed office suites which make up the ground floor of Peel’s Grade A, five storey office building.

Speaking of the completed work, Peel property manager Liza Marco said: “We are delighted to be working with NoChintz. The balance of their vision, creativity and management of a complex process has been impressive for us as a client and we are pleased with the finished product in The Quay.”

Another appointment sees NoChintz secure a project with Manchester based CRM business, Capsule. The company has trebled its office space and asked NoChintz to undertake the full design of the space plus project management and installation.

NoChintz associate director Leanne Wookey said: “Our commercial credentials get stronger with each project and the team flourishes in undertaking them.”

Adding her thoughts on NoChintz’s unique approach to commercial projects Leanne added: “The trend for longer working days mean that workspaces have had to be redefined. People are spending more time at the office, working more unconventional hours, so it’s inevitable that employers have had to look at bringing in homely comforts into workspaces.

“There are ergonomic considerations that have to be brought in to ensure that offices provoke productivity through comfort and that’s what we’ve focused on in particular with our designs for Capsule. We are looking forward to completing this scheme and sharing those designs as they come to fruition.”

The wins are the latest in a long line of commercial projects that NoChintz has been commissioned on this year. The team recently completed the redevelopment of barristers’ chambers at Lincoln House in Manchester. They created a paperless office using the barristers’ back library of reference books as furniture.

NoChintz was established in 2007 and has since grown into a flourishing interiors and branding studio. It recently announced an increase in turnover to £1.55m for the past year.
