Lean this way…..
If your browsing the internet looking for Lean training providers you will find literally thousands, so why would you choose Business Transformation Associates Ltd.?
BTA, a business created in 2012 to provide a partnership with organisations that wanted or needed to make tangible changes to their operations has delivered substantial results, exceeding the expectations of its existing clients. Based in the North East of England, BTA have extensive experience of lean transformation across many diverse industries and are capable of providing a business with a clear competitive advantage. Taking the time to understand the challenges facing their clients, BTA develop bespoke solutions to help improve financial performance through evaluating and re-engineering manufacturing operations or business processes.
Their biggest success to date has been partnering a client within the UK to take their business from a near closure position to sales growth of +£3 Million within a six month period, securing 214 jobs, and making the facility the flagship site within the group. The site also boasts achievement of the highest awarding standards in their industry and visiting customers are always impressed by the level of engagement the workforce now display.
As a recognised EAL Assessment Centre, BTA were also able to provide those engaging in the transformation with a nationally recognised qualification which has led to job security and in a number of instances internal promotions. This is a true success story which has led to BTA becoming the preferred partner of choice for this blue chip organisation.
Previously located at Northumberland Business Park in Cramlington, as part of their expansion programme the company relocated to the impressive Cobalt Business Park, Newcastle Upon Tyne. Colin Hastings, BTA Director said “We are delighted to be in a position whereby we can execute our business strategy ahead of planned timescales. The success we have achieved to date has increased demand for our services across a number of industries within the manufacturing sector. Our relocation puts us in a position to develop our portfolio to deliver both accredited and bespoke training within our own facility at an easily accessible venue in the North East of England.” Their plans to deliver seminars and short courses in lean fundamental skills comes at the request of organisations embarking on business development strategies, using their own resource and management teams wanting to gain better understanding of lean tools and techniques. Kim English, Director said “These events although not based in the client business are still regarded as a partnership. Using our multi sensory approach to learning, we ensure the candidates leave our development session with the ability and confidence to roll out the tools and techniques within their own organisation. Ongoing support is always available for those attendees who wish to use the unit credits towards a nationally recognised qualification.”
BTA recognise that training and development budgets need to be managed very carefully in the current economic climate, especially in a company that is finding it difficult to react to market influences. To date, their clients have been brave enough to make the investment in their people, and as a result the transformation has made the competitive difference between them and their market rivals. Kim added “We appreciate it is difficult to allocate money to a project of this type when a business is not performing as well as it possibly could, which is why we are pleased to be a registered provider for NBSL’s North East Business Support Fund which can help cover up to 40% of the cost of work by external suppliers.”
2014 is already shaping up to be another busy year for BTA with a number of businesses already signed up to Lean their way…….!
