Greater Manchester housing services firm building for growth
Trafford based social housing procurement consortium, Procure Plus, has expanded its team with three new appointments.
Business analyst, Stephen Blears; project co-ordinator, Thomas Gordon; and framework manager, Simon Siu, all join the company team to help bolster its services for social housing providers and contractors in the region.
Previously an analyst at Manchester United, J.D.Williams and Swinton Insurance, Stephen Blears will specify and help further develop Procure Plus’ existing IT systems to incorporate the consortium’s expanding range of housing procurement frameworks, ensuring they are as effective and efficient as possible for customers.
Thomas Gordon will use his experience as both a project manager and social housing contractor, to manage the consortium’s in-house e-procurement system, Schemes Plus, maximising the benefits for clients, registered providers, and suppliers.
Drawing on his experience at international project management consultancy, Atkins and national insurance group, Swinton, Simon Siu will work with members to deliver the work and budgets of all contractors specified for Procure Plus’ frameworks, including its New Build and Retrofit schemes.
The three new employees join a team of 40 which has recently been recognised in an independent Climate Survey for its spirited and dedicated approach to the work carried out by Procure Plus across the region.
Mike Brogan, chief executive at Procure Plus, said: “2013 has been a fantastic year for the business, so to support this growth into 2014 we wanted to strengthen our team further with passionate employees who can give a wealth of knowledge and expertise to our customers.
“Stephen, Thomas and Simon are committed to this and will help us to maintain the highest standards of services for our members and contractors alike.”
