Ringtons hope to capture new retail market share
Iconic North East tea merchant Ringtons has launched an new range designed to reach new customers through its cafes, restaurants and hotels business.
The Heaton-headquartered firm will provide its ‘Signature’ range to its catering and hospitality clients, to sell on to their own customer base.
Stephen Drysdale, head of Ringtons Beverages said: “Our clients are always being asked by their customer which tea or coffee they are drinking in-store so they can buy it themselves, the launch of the Signature range means our clients are now able to offer their customers the opportunity to buy the products from them directly.
“This move allows us to make Ringtons even more accessible to our existing customers and attract new ones, while it also enables our business clients such as hotels or cafes to offer their customers a unique service which is convenient and appealing, and in-turn sets their venue apart from competitors.
“We are excited about the potential of the Signature collection and we are delighted the Swell Café has signed up to offer our new range to its loyal customer base. Swell Café have always been great supporters of ours and share our values of heritage, first class customer service and providing the highest quality products, so selling our new Signature range is a natural progression for both parties.”
Ringtons does not sell its goods in traditional retail outlets, choosing instead to sell items directly to consumers online and through the company’s doorstep delivery service.
