Finn scoop contract with METRO

Leeds communications agency Finn has secured a new client in the shape of West Yorkshire local transport authority, METRO.

Finn’s digital team will now work with METRO to develop their social media interaction with 2.1 million transport users.

Richard Rawlins, managing director at Finn, said: “For an organisation like Metro, the ability to communicate directly with customers through social media is critical for improving their experience of the transport network.

“As more people spend more time online, especially using mobile devises we have an opportunity to deliver live, real time, personalised information which can dramatically improve the customer experience. We will help Metro to use social insights and content strategy to improve the way they use social media to communicate with customers.

“We’re excited to be working in collaboration with METRO on this project and are looking forward to helping share our knowledge with the team.”

Finn won the contract following a three-way pitch and will provide a programme of in-house training and mentoring.

Mike Nolan, marketing manager at METRO added: “The agency’s strategic approach and unrivalled social media expertise, coupled with a local knowledge made Finn the obvious choice for our campaign. The team devised a bespoke approach which truly met our business objectives and we’re really looking forward to seeing measurable improvements within the organisation.”
