Apprentice star Neil Clough launches consultancy company with a £10k competition for start ups
The Apprentice star Neil Clough has launched his new company NWC Consultancy, with a £10,000 competition for other business start-ups.
The Warrington-born entrepreneur was a favourite of Lord Sugar and was widely tipped to win. He was ousted in the finals, though, after scrutiny of his business proposal left him known as ’the right man, wrong plan.“
Determined to shake the label, Neil has been developing his own business since the programme ended last summer and he’s launching NWC Consultancy this week (Monday 3 February) by giving other new companies the chance to win £10,000 worth of business sales support.
Neil, who’s now based in Hale, broke an Apprentice record, during the caravan task, for the greatest number of high ticket items ever sold on the programme.
“The Apprentice has given me a big break,” said Neil. “I’m grateful for that and I’m keen to give someone else a break by helping and supporting them in their business.”
NWC provides Sales Consultancy, Sales Training, Coaching and Mentoring and Neil says it was his time on the Apprentice that helped him focus on his strengths:
“Sales have always been my strong point but the Apprentice helped me to see that this should be the focus of my new business. I’ve had more than 15-years’ experience in a sales environment. I’m passionate about sales and NWC Consultancy is dedicated to helping businesses grow,” said Neil.
Neil also wowed TV audiences with his impromptu motivational speech to city bankers in episode six. He has since become a respected figure on the speaking circuit and has secured engagements across the country.
For a chance to win £10,000 worth of business sales support apply at nwcconsultancy.com .The competition is open to any company less than three years old, based in the North-West and with fewer than 10 employees.
The prize consists of a monthly sales and planning meeting with Neil, weekly one-to-one telephone calls, access to NWC consultancy tools and unique strategy finders, along with marketing and PR support and on-going mentoring from Neil.
All applications must be received before 28 February 2014.
Competition finalists will be invited to present before a panel of experts, including Neil, at the end of April.
