Cramlington software provider grows workforce for expansion

A Cramlington-based software provider to the haulage and transport sectors has recruited for expansion, following promising sales rises.

Mandata (Management & Data Services) Ltd has appointed five new staff in technical support, account management and marketing roles.

The firm supplies to regional firms including Elddis Transport in Consett; Newcastle’s Ramage Transport and Murray Hogg Limited.

As part of the recruitment drive, Elliott Craddock and Jonathan Parker have joined as software support programmers; Richard Bird joins as new account manager; Lisa Evans joins as sales administrator and Stewart Parry, who joins the Cramlington operation as warehouse support programmer.

Mandata’s CEO Mark Norcliffe is keen for further growth. He said “We are committed to investing in people to propel the business forward and advance our products. Each new team member will have an important role to play in our growth.”

Mandata, which received investment in 2013 from Synova Capital now employs a team of 71 based across three locations throughout Europe.
