Cabfind.com lives up to its promise of delivering ‘a hassle free A to B’

Ground transportation market leader Cabfind.com came to the rescue for more than 30 business travel leaders after expected tube strikes meant they had to alter their travel arrangements to get across London to attend this year’s Business Travel Show.

The mix of CEOs and MDs were attending a business breakfast at Google’s offices in Central St Giles, which was jointly hosted by business magazine, Travel Weekly and the UK’s leading media brand for the digital travel industry, Travolution. However, without guaranteed use of the tube, they thought they had no way of getting over to The Business Travel Show, which was taking place 4.4 miles away at Earls Court.

North West-based Cabfind.com, which pioneered the first generation of dynamic taxi booking systems, helped to solve their transport problem though by facilitating a small fleet of Addison Lee taxis, which transported the executives across the capital quickly and efficiently.

Cabfind.com was established in 2005 to develop and sell the first generation of software solutions in transport management. Now a UK market leader, the company specialises in nationwide ground transportation services, and manages the private hire transport needs of corporate clients and the public sector.

Focusing on the business-to-business sector, Cabfind.com provides corporate customers with a single point of contact to book all of their ground transport requirements throughout the UK. Corporate clients include three FirstGroup train operating companies; Ministry of Justice; ITV Studios; Travelodge; Redfern Travel; Co-operative Travel Management and Capita.

Chris Jordan, managing director of Cabfind.com, said:

“As a travel management solutions provider it is our job to simplify the process for business travellers when it comes to getting from A to B. We were therefore delighted to help out on this occasion, particularly as it was getting to The Business Travel Show, which is such an important fixture in the business travel calendar. We were also exhibiting, so we saw a few of them at our stand!

“With train companies such as Virgin Trains and First Great Western on our books, we also have extensive experience of helping passengers complete their journey quickly and safely when, for whatever reason, their trains can’t run. What is more, with a virtual fleet of over 120,000 vehicles we are able to assist business travelers wherever they are in the UK - however remote.”
