Leeds IT consultancy firm expands into the South West with fifth new office
BJSS, the Leeds-based IT consultancy, is now serving the South West of England from its new Bristol office - the fifth to open in the UK after London, Leeds, Manchester and Derby.
BJSS’ Bristol team will be responsible for supporting existing BJSS clients in the South West.
BJSS is an award-winning IT consulting and software development house which was established in Leeds in 1993. It boasts an international presence with clients on both sides of the Atlantic, and specialises in the financial services, commodity trading, media & telecoms, retail, and government sectors.
BJSS was recently included in the inaugural London Stock Exchange Group’s ‘1,000 Companies to Inspire Britain’ report.
“Bristol is an important location for BJSS,” explains BJSS General Manager, Mark Hipperson. “It provides a great base to service the many manufacturing and financial service organisations for which the South West and Wales have become renowned.
“Crucially, Bristol is also a major hub of promising IT talent. We look forward to welcoming professionals from the region to our 400 existing BJSS colleagues.”
Professor Joe McGeehan, chair of Invest Bristol & Bath, and founding MD and senior general advisor at Toshiba Telecommunications Research Laboratory said: “I’m delighted to welcome BJSS to the Bristol and Bath regional ecosystem.”
“The company’s location choice clearly recognises the region’s long-standing reputation as a UK hotspot for new investment and a first class centre for ICT, digital and high-tech industries.
“With leading businesses and a vast pool of highly skilled talent, Bristol and Bath offers significant market opportunities and the right environment for BJSS to thrive.
“Together with the Invest Bristol & Bath team, I am looking forward to supporting BJSS’ growth plans and helping them take full advantage of all that our vibrant and innovative community has to offer.”
