Liverpool technology company reflecting on success
Liverpool’s ChargePoint grew by almost a quarter in 2013, as it developed new products and underwent significant international expansion, it has revealed.
To top off their year the company were rewarded for their successes in 2013 with the Business of the year award from Liverpool Chamber of Commerce at their annual dinner.
Market leaders in the supply of containment valves and integrated material handling equipment for example to the Pharmaceutical, Biopharmaceutical, Chemical and Food industries, ChargePoint create lasting partnerships by providing high quality and reliable products, coupled with outstanding customer service.
The company increased its turnover last year by 23% compared with the previous year and opened a new company in the USA (ChargePoint Technology Inc.).
Experiencing a tremendous growth since its origins, ChargePoint now employ 52 people (27% increase compared to 2012) and have increased their network of business partners in the USA, Ireland, Middle East and Eastern Europe.
In 2013 they launched the ChargePoint PharmaSafe product range which solves containment issues for the Pharmaceutical Industry. Alongside this, they launched AfterCare, their new customer service program to support their increased global presence.
The technology company invested further to penetrate the Biopharmaceutical industry with new products with their launch of ChargePoint AseptiSafe to enable them to meet the most stringent demands of the Biopharmaceutical industry.
Chris Eccles, Managing Director at ChargePoint Technology said: “2013 was an eventful year for the company and we plan to increase the level of growth again in 2014. Winning the award at the Chamber of Commerce annual dinner was a real achievement for us and was a nice reward for all the hard work the team put in last year.”
