Double triumph for Mersey restaurant

Liverpool FC’s Anfield Stadium provided the venue for the annual Liverpool Lifestyle Awards, sponsored by Bierkeller, attended by 270 guests.

They included Marcus Collins, CBB winner Paddy Doherty, TOWIE’s Kirk Norcross and Liverpool football legend David Fairclough. Pete Price hosted the night, organised by Lifestyle magazine and Liverpool Fashion Week owner Amanda Moss.

Winners included Craig Philips (Best Personality) and Pete Price himself who won Ambassador to the City.

Amanda Moss said, “The Lifestyle Awards is an opportunity to highlight just how hard people are working to succeed in business.

“It’s right for them to be recognised for this. Plus it’s a great excuse for doing what Liverpool does best- getting glammed up for the evening. Every year the Lifestyle Awards gets bigger and bigger, it’s important for the city.I want to congratulate all those who won as well as the runners up who are all amazing ambassadors in the community.”

Viva Brazil won the Best Restaurant award, topping off another successful year for the restaurant chain, which is looking to expand in two further locations in the next year. It also became the first to win the Best Restaurant award for two consecutive years.

Andy Aldrich, owner of the Viva Brazil chain, said: “We are thrilled to have won Best Restaurant at the Lifestyle Awards. It is an amazing recognition of the hard work of all those involved with the Liverpool branch of Viva Brazil.

“We pride ourselves on delivering a first class dining experience and we are honoured that our dedication to creating an authentic Brazilian atmosphere has been recognised at the ceremony.”

Liverpool’s East Z East took the award in the Fining Dining category.

The Lifestyle Awards, now in their fifth year, are produced by the Lifestyle magazine, which has the largest fee distributed circulation on Merseyside.
