Ontime Group expands into new £1m offices after record year

A Manchester-based provider of specialist services to personal injury and clinical negligence lawyers has moved into new £1 million offices after a record year.

After increasing turnover by 35% to £1.1 million and recording pre-tax profits of £314k - up 45% - in the last financial year, Ontime Group has relocated to newly rebranded offices on Palatine Road, Northenden.

Ontime is on target to meet its 2014 goal of £1.5 million turnover, and has just recruited its 35th member of staff.

Operations director at Ontime Group, James Molloy, said: “We enjoyed significant growth in 2013 by acquiring new client firms and launching new products and services. In 2014, we’ll continue to do the same while investing heavily in a new sales team and increasing marketing spend.

“Our 8,000 sq ft building is big enough to accommodate the employees we have now and those we’re planning to appoint in the future, in line with our growth strategy. The aim is for us to build our business to beyond 50 employees over the next 12 to 18 months and we’re confident we can do so, despite the legal sector continuing to go through a tumultuous time.”

Ontime Group provides reports for all types of personal injury and clinical negligence claims, including full reports through a nationwide panel of expert consultants and rehabilitation services, and specific and highly accurate medical and non-medical information to lawyers.

It also offers a cost-efficient medical records pagination service with experienced nursing professionals sorting through the complex and voluminous medical history of clients, and a costs department, to give protection and peace of mind to lawyers, with services such as costs estimations, negotiation and advocacy.

James continued: “We started off as Ontime Reports, servicing one firm of solicitors and rented offices from that firm. However, we now provide our services to law firms throughout England and Wales and have experienced rapid growth so needed our own building much sooner than we thought.

“We will continue to improve our service to provide ‘best of breed’ service in our sector, and later in the year plan to launch an innovative new service involving barristers. Our goal is to at least double the size of the business, in terms of profit and people, while maintaining our reputation for service excellence.

“We have a truly unique offering in the industry with all our employees working under one roof and providing a seamless service. In addition to this, we also offer a chauffeur/van delivery service whereby our branded vehicle will drive incapacitated clients to be assessed by medical experts or can collect and deliver sensitive and important case files and paginated medical records directly to and from client firms. It’s all part of our promise to go the extra mile and leave no stone unturned, the reason we are having such success.”
