York PR firm secures place on Goldman Sachs small business programme
York-based PR and communications agency The Partners Group has made it on the Goldman Sachs UK 10,000 Small Businesses programme.
The firm aims to double in size over the next three years and it was this ambition that attracted Goldman Sachs.
The Goldman Sachs programme has been running in Yorkshire since 2010 and is targeted at businesses and social enterprises with clear ambitions to grow.
It is based on the principle that greater access to education and business support services addresses barriers to growth.
The programme provides support to enable businesses to unlock the economic and job creation potential of small businesses and social enterprises operating in the UK.
Partners, which celebrated its 25th anniversary in 2013, and director Monica Green (pictured) believes this presents huge opportunities for firms that can offer integrated communications advice and support.
She said: “The ability to provide an integrated approach to communication - creating quality content and using the right on and offline channels to distribute it and engage with target audiences – will be the key to success in our industry.
“That’s exactly what we do, and have been doing for 25 years. Communication channels are evolving, but the principles of telling your story in a way that will engage your audience remain the same, and we see significant scope for growth.”
Monica says the business aims to double in size over the next three years, and has an experienced team in place to help facilitate that growth: “The fact that our growth ambitions have been recognised, is fantastic news for us and our team. We can’t wait to get started.”
The Partners Group is a nine-strong team of communications experts, working with organisations throughout the UK in the property, construction, food processing, legal, education, hotel and leisure sectors.
