Tangerine trio step up as agency goes for further growth
To support its ambitious growth plans, Manchester’s Tangerine PR has strengthened its leadership team with the promotion of Kate Burke and Anna Wilson – who have both been with the agency for four years – to the senior management team (SMT).
Emma Cameron, a relative newcomer who joined the agency in May 2013, has also been promoted to consumer account director, bringing the company’s total to an impressive 22 promotions for the financial year.
The promotions come at a time of celebration for the agency, which recently marked its 12th birthday.
Kate, who has been promoted to associate director, heads up a mix of the agency’s longest-standing and newest clients, including the New Atkins Nutritional Approach – a Tangerine client since 2008 – and GG Hospitality, Gary Neville and Ryan Giggs’ hospitality management company.
As part of her new role and as the agency continues to expand its offer and client base, Kate will be responsible for evolving the ways in which the company evaluates its work, allowing it to offer best practice advice to clients and ensure campaigns deliver truly tangible results.
Anna, who joined Tangerine in 2010, has been promoted to head of digital from her previous role of senior digital strategist. She designs and implements strategies for a number of Tangerine’s clients – including Peugeot and Wilko – as well as heading up Tangerine’s industry-led social media apprenticeship, The Juice Academy.
Emma, a former Newsquest journalist who’s been with Tangerine for almost a year, is heading up a number of the agency’s consumer clients, including E.ON, Certas Energy and Wilko press office.
“Not only are Kate and Anna superb practitioners in their field, they have a real passion for Tangerine and the way we do things,” said Tangerine group MD, Sandy Lindsay.
“They’ve both played a key role in the success of the agency over the past few years and their progression to the SMT is a true reflection of the valuable contributions they have made during their time with us.”
