Brighouse's Transline Group appoints PR agency to keep up with expansion
Transline Group has appointed UK and global PR agency, Weber Shandwick, to raise the firm’s profile as a growing recruitment business.
Predominantly, Transline Group specialises in recruitment for the logistics sector and provides staffing solutions to firms across the UK, North America, South East Asia and Europe.
Transline has also been shortlisted in three separate categories at the Recruiter Awards for Excellence 2014.
Transline will compete for ‘Best International Recruitment Agency’, ‘Best Temporary Recruitment Agency’ and ‘Best Embedded Recruitment Team’ at the glitzy ceremony on 7th May 2014.
Weber Shandwick will provide a corporate communications campaign to target prospective clients looking either to train existing staff or make new hires, and look to attract new candidates seeking roles in the logistics sector.
By targeting wider stakeholders the campaign will also look to raise awareness about the logistics sector where the current skills gap means firms find it hard to hire the right staff.
Paul Beasley, joint managing director at Transline Group, said: “Weber Shandwick is perfectly placed to help us raise our profile as a fast-growing entrepreneurial business.
“The agency’s global presence in the markets that we operate in will allow us to build on our international success and grow our footprint further.”
Speaking of the win, Jessica Wilkinson, who will lead the account, said: “Transline Group is a fast-growing business with great ambitions to drive growth across the industry. The logistics sector keeps the wheels of UK industry turning, yet fewer talented people are pursuing careers in this area.
“Through a campaign designed to target both logistics firms and potential recruits, we will work with Transline Group to raise awareness of the firm’s success, while tackling the issue of skills shortages in the industry.
Jon Taylor, also managing director at Transline Group, added: “We were impressed with the Manchester team’s corporate communications credentials, and its unique position in the north means that we can work together to capitalise on the growth we are seeing across the UK and beyond.”
