West Yorkshire HR firm secures new contract with Halifax fittings design company
A West Yorkshire HR consultancy is starting the new financial year by securing a new contract win.
The Personnel Partnership, based in Holmfirth, has been chosen to develop a HR and Learning and Development Strategy for Halifax based Project:ff&e that will encompass the company’s strategic approach to all aspects of HR moving forward into 2014.
Project:ff&e is a design, and project management firm specialising in furniture, fittings & equipment (FF&E) services for universities, schools and academies.
The company has grown quickly since it began as a furniture design and lifecycle consultancy in 2010 and today employs 20 employees with a projected turnover in excess of £8m this year.
The Personnel Partnership will manage a staged approach to implementing the company’s HR strategy, which will include wider advice on its recruitment and employment process as well as working more closely with senior managers to review the company’s business plan and identify learning and development needs for current employees.
Helen Straw, owner and director of The Personnel Partnership, established the consultancy in 2001. She commented on the contract: “I’m delighted to be working with Project:ff&e to deliver their HR and Learning and Development strategy.
“I will be working closely as an integral part of the business so that all employees get to know me and I look forward to building some great relationships.”
Helen will also work with senior managers to review and revise the company’s current appraisal process to ensure employees are always fully engaged. She adds: “From the beginning, my aim has been to be develop long term partnerships and ensure that business owners have the peace of mind to know that their most valuable resource—their workforce—is well managed.”
Managing director of Project:ff&e, Jamie Watson, commented on the partnership: “We are looking forward to working alongside Helen and The Personnel Partnership.
“It has been refreshing to have an enthusiastic and proactive HR consultant on board.”
In the face of a struggling economy for many small businesses, The Personnel Partnership has continued to thrive, proving that its model of providing bespoke HR and learning and development services specific to a business’s needs, is a successful one.“
