This week’s Yorkshire appointments
Morgans, Jacqui Pringle and Lisa Dennett
Jacqui Pringle has been appointed as operations manager at city living specialists Morgan, and Lisa Dennett has been appointed as customer service and property management administrator.
Jacqui, who was previously general manager at rival firm Eddisons, has five years experience in the property industry and over 20 years experience in Financial Services.
Managing director Jonathan Morgan said: “City centre and North Leeds rentals are up by 10% in comparison to the same period last year, and sales have seen a staggering recovery - up 100% on last year
“We are determined to set new standards in customer service delivery and this appointment is testament to our commitment.”
Jacqui said: “I was keen to come and work for an owner managed business where the service is very personal, and was delighted when Morgans created this new role for me.I can’t wait to make an impact.”
10 Associates, Jon Banks and Peter Chana
A Mirfield brand and design consultancy has expanded its senior team with two new staff. Jon Banks and Peter Chana join 10 Associates as senior designer and senior creative artworker.
10 Associates works with brands such as AO.Com, the online appliance retailer, Skipton FS and Welcome To Yorkshire
Jon, “Working in print has given me a good eye for detail and I look forward to bringing that and my design background to 10 Associates. I love exploring all the possible angles of a project and turning the little details into a full 3D consumer experience – it’s an exciting time to be joining the team.”
Peter said: “I’m delighted to be joining a growing design consultancy. 10 Associates is renowned for its rebranding of corporate companies and I can’t wait to lead the creative artwork team through future jobs.”
Joe Manby Ltd., Ben Atkinson
Family-owned event services supplier Joe Manby Limited has appointed a new event co-ordinator.
Ben Atkinson has joined the Harrogate-based firm from Wetherby Racecourse where he was a sales and marketing assistant, managing non-racing events.
Ben, who graduated with a degree in Sports Science from Liverpool John Moore’s University, said: “I am delighted to be joining Joe Manby Limited, a true thoroughbred company in the world of events.
“I love the buzz of turning an idea into reality and look forward to building on the company’s outstanding track record of success.”
Richard Manby, company director, said: “After a very busy start to the year, we are delighted to have Ben joining us. His expertise and enthusiasm will be a great asset and he is a highly beneficial addition to the company.”
The Met Club, Michelle Normington
Harrogate-based business networking organisation The Met Club has taken on an events coordinator in response to an increase in demand for its services.
Michelle Normington joins after working in a similar role at the Yorkshire Bank headquarters in Leeds, where she managed corporate events for the senior management team.
Originally from South Africa, Michelle moved to the UK 13 years ago working for Cox Insurance, in Bradford, now owned by HCC, as an events manager before a decade at Yorkshire Bank.
The Met Club is based in Harrogate and holds monthly events there as well as in Leeds, York, Sheffield and Doncaster.
Christine Armstrong, managing director of The Met Club, said: “As the economy begins to grow we are starting to see an increase in demand for our monthly events, as well as our networking lunches, so it is great to have Michelle onboard.”
